Below is this week’s “Safety App of the Week“.  Every Monday we publish an article that reviews and rates a new workplace safety app.  Our testing is done on Apple iPads and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3s.  We rate each app from ♥ to ♥♥♥♥♥ (♥♥♥♥♥ is the best).  Prior app of the week articles are archived here.

Thumbs Up

• cost is free
• no registration or sign in required
• eight excellent short videos on  hazard observation
• interactive exercises test your learning
• presents a complicated topic in an easy to understand way
• can be used off-line
• this app does only one thing,  but it does it extremely well

Thumbs Down

• the video’s narrator speaks with a very heavy Australian accent
• terrific app – we’d love to see this developer produce more safety training apps on other subjects
