Thumbs Up

  • cost is free
  • separate sections devoted to safety, environment, and training news
  • regularly updated
  • good graphics and visually attractive
  • pretty good content from a technical standpoint
  • searchable
  • can email articles to friends and co-workers

Thumbs Down

  • many “news articles” are just advertisements for their subscription services and webinars
  • very few OSHA updates
  • some of the features are not free
  • there’s nothing “news worthy” or “timely” about many of their articles
  • we expected more “current event articles” and fewer “random articles” on safety

Overall Rating

  • iPad / iPhone  – ♥♥♥
  • Android –  not available
  • Overall – there are much better ways to keep current on developments and changes in the field of safety
